Account Details
- The parents/guardian can open an account for the child below 18 years. When a child attains 18 years the account is converted to Main membership account. (Girl child) or can be closed.
- This account offers members an opportunity to save money and earn interest of 4%.
- Contributors KRA PIN required.
- Withholding tax deducted on interest upon redemption.
- A processing fee of 100 is charged on redemption.
- It’s processed on the member’s request for 7 working days
- Funds from this account can be used to guarantee the principle member’s loan.
- Note: If funds are held as a guarantee, the member cannot withdraw from this account unless an alternative security/guarantee is provided.
- Joining fee Kshs 500.
Requirements:
- Complete an application form
- Provide a copy of their birth certificate
- Provide one passport size photograph for the child.
- No Minimum contribution.
